Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth (your third molars) are the last teeth to grow. There are chances that they may not emerge at all or most often, they are impacted or trapped in the jawbone and gums, because of inadequate space in the mouth.
A thorough dental evaluation consisting of clinical examination of the teeth and x-rays to assess the health of your teeth will help pinpoint any existing problem. Based on this evaluation, we may recommend surgery to remove the wisdom tooth and eliminate the problem. Removal of a wisdom tooth is a minor surgical procedure carried out under local anaesthesia and does not cause any damage to adjacent teeth or to the eyesight. Loss of a wisdom tooth does not compromise chewing or biting habits.
