Broken Teeth

If your tooth is broken, chipped, or fractured, see your dentist as soon as possible. Otherwise, your tooth could be damaged further or become infected, possibly causing you to end up losing the tooth.

Dental Filling or Bonding

If you have chipped off just a small piece of tooth enamel, your dentist may repair the damage with a filling. If the repair is to a front tooth or can be seen when you smile, your dentist will likely use a procedure called bonding, which uses a tooth-colored composite resin.

Bonding is a simple procedure that typically does not require numbing the tooth. To bond a tooth, the dentist first etches its surface with a liquid or gel to roughen it and make the bonding material adhere to it. Next, the dentist applies an adhesive material to the tooth followed by a tooth colored resin. After shaping the bonding material to look like a natural tooth, the dentist uses an ultraviolet light to harden the material.

Crowns

Crowns and Bridges
Crowns and bridges are a fixed solution to missing or damaged teeth. This restorative procedure uses prosthetic devices to return your smile to its natural state. A crown is used when the tooth structure is damaged or fractured. A bridge is used when one or more teeth are missing. Crowns and Bridges are considered the most common and highly effective solutions for improving imperfections such as a damaged or a missing tooth. The results allow you to chew food easier and help balance your bite while reducing the ability of your existing teeth to shift and catch food in between them.

Dentures

Dentures & Partials
Dentures are removable appliances that replace missing teeth. Depending on your needs, you can get either complete dentures or partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the bottom or top teeth need to be replaced. Dentures that replace just some of the teeth are called partial dentures. Both options allow you to eat food easier, speak clearly if you had problems speaking well because of missing teeth and help support cheeks and lips to prevent sagging in the face.

Cerec – 1 Visit Restoration

The term CEREC as used in dentistry stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic. This is a system that uses CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) to fabricate dental restorations. The system can be used to design crowns, inlays and onlays, fixed bridges, veneers, dental implants, dentures and some orthodontic appliances.

Extractions And Oral Surgery

Tooth Extractions
At ELITE DENTAL CLINIC LIMITED, we do all we can to help you preserve all the teeth in your mouth because we know your teeth are essential for speaking, eating, and your overall facial structure. Sometimes, however, it cannot be saved and the tooth must be extracted.

Wisdom tooth/teeth

A wisdom tooth generally requires removal if there is not enough space for it to erupt in the mouth. In such cases, it often tilts in an awkward position, may get stuck under the adjacent teeth, cause food lodgment and consequently caries in the same or adjacent teeth. In such cases, we advise an X-ray to verify its position, its relation with the surrounding vital structures and then decide upon its removal.

Root Canal treatment

Endodontics, commonly known as root canal treatment, is a dental procedure used to to remove diseased pulp and preserve the diseased tooth.
Root canal treatment is usually required when the blood or nerve supply of the tooth (the pulp) becomes infected through decay or injury. If you are experiencing prolonged pain, sensitivity long after eposoure to hot or cold foods, you may have an underlying infection affecting the pulp of your tooth. If left untreated for too long, a painful infection or abscess can form leaving the tooth vulnerable and may need to be extracted.
Root canal treatment often conjures up a frightening picture in your mind, of pain, sharp instruments and multiple visits to the dentist. However, with recent advances in dentistry, root canal treatment is not only painless, but also in most cases, can be done in one sitting.
